Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have continued to drop in the last week, on the international market, in line with an overall fall of equity and commodity markets. However, demand is very strong at these lower levels from spinners in countries benefiting from the shift in the apparel sourcing outside of China. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
