Cotton futures have been supported in the last week by massive orders from Chinese state trading houses taking advantage of low price levels to replenish the national reserve. Cotton prices have begun plunging on Friday, however, and could drop further in May. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index".
