Cotton prices rose in the last week in New York, over a new wave of financial investment. However, the return to partial lockdown in the Middle East and South Asia could curb textile demand, whereas continental Europe is not out of the woods yet. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are reviewed through tables and charts. Organic and BCI cotton prices in India and Pakistan are also released.
