New York's cotton futures rose in the past week above their record level this year, whereas the market indicator surged further in India over low inventories at the end of the season. China still needs to replenish its state reserves, in line with a rebound in cotton use. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are reviewed through tables and charts. Organic and BCI cotton prices in India and Pakistan are also released. All data are available for download.
