Main responsibilities The position is offered as a fixedterm contract for 3 years. The successful candidate will concetrate on the following tasks and responsibilities Design, create, develop, test, and manage software development for automation tasks. Contribute to the engineering of service integration with automatic control of cloud computing based systems. Routinely manage data access services cloud computing platform automation and relevant aspects related to performance, integrity and security. Contribute to the planning and development of the automation development tasks. Troubleshoot issues. Operations, maintenance and support activities to the data access automation tools and the underlying cloud infrastructure. Execute monitoring and control of the automation flows and associated servers and infrastructure resources to proactively handle capacity, performance and availability issues. Support the development of automation tools to be used for automatic installation and configuration of servers and database stacks, building systems of high availability and quality depending on requirements for databases, applications, and data access service components. Work on resolving incidents. Owns technical documentation and drives for its adoption. Contribute to the continuous evolution of the managed automation tool components. Ensure that the automation tools components are compliant with security requirements. Regular interaction with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure systems integrity and security. Regular implementation of needed changes when required. Ideal candidate The ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in similar service environments and the following skils and experience Technical experience in development for operations, or fullstack implementations. Software development capability in a highlevel programming language that best fits with the cloud computing platforms of interest Openstack, VMware vSphere, such as python, Java, or other of choice. Successful customer engagement providing delivery solutions, preferably using cloud computing technologies. GNULinux command line capability. Familiarity with Openstack and VMware vSphere services with particular depth in those used to orchestrate automate the provisioning of resources. Experience in configuration management utilities and tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc. Experienced with systems and IT operations. Understanding of virtual machines, GNULinux containers and their application. Ability to select, use, deploy and maintain a wide variety of open source technologies and tools. Systems integration experience in a GNULinux environment with network security experience. Technical Reporting Problem solving and analytical skills Skills to work under pressure and willingness to keep up to date with new technology Excellent written and spoken English Technical Certifications are an asset.
