We are looking for a Data Systems Manager. The working language for the position is English and therefore the key person must be able to work effectively in this language. Profile Required Skills and Experience Experience in providing engineering services for data centres or for advanced software Experience in the management, development and maintenance of Mission Data Systems Experience in DevOps Experience with advanced application deployment automation solutions containers, Chef Experience with public and private Cloud environments Experience in Mission Data Systems projects and documentation Ability to capture the bigger picture and the system context Coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields, as well as capability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Industry and SSA Segment teams Team spirit, good communication skills and cooperative attitude Awareness of the technology trends and interest in RD Ability to work independently Fluent spoken and written English Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge of SSA systems, ESOC infrastructure and ESOC operational environment Knowledge of standards in engineering and quality Experience dealing with external partners Familiarity with the coordination of Mission Data Systems Ability to multitask efficiently Responsibility The key person will manage data systems including software applications for the domains of Space Weather, Near Earth Objects and Space Surveillance and Tracking. The following responsabilies are foreseen not limited to Support the deployment, validation and operations of Space Situational Awareness SSA applications, developed in the context of industrial activities Setup, configuration and management of DEVOPS environment for SSA systems, including automation of application deployment solution Supportcontribute to the Programme data management evolution OnSite software development for adhoc RD projects, innovation tasks, Lab projects The key person will work in close cooperation with our customer onsite team in order to drive innovation through implementing DevOps technologies and championing DevOps culture. In this context, the following activities are foreseen Automating CICD processes Providing training in usage of CICD, container orchestration, and DevOps tools. Develop release approach using automated, containerised deployment techniques Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce manual steps Analyse root causes of issues and provide corrective actions. Evaluate new tools and techniques to drive efficiencies. Manage Cloud infrastructure services and accounts. Keep evolving system and application monitoring infrastructure Drive data engineering initiatives and innovation Design scale data management products Enable and facilitate a datadriven culture for internal and external clients,
