RHEA is currently recruiting an EGNOS Monitoring and Control Engineer to support the EGNOS V3 MCS activities at our clients premises in Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the definition of the Phase CD statement of work and related technical proposal assessment. Follow Industry MCS Specifications and design activities Participate to key milestones such as Key Points, CDR, QR, etc. RID authoring, panel report contribution etc. Participate to HMIMMI definition and mockup activities Interface with the Product Assurance and Security sections as necessary Organise the EGNOS V3 MCS coordination meetings Interface between EGNOSproject and V3 MCS industry. Interface and coordinate V3 MCS Industry for the management of anomalies and changes in the MCS infrastructure. In particular this includes supporting the onsite Anomaly Review and Change Control Boards. Liaise and coordinate with GSA for Operator coordination and Operational Concept solidification Coordinate understanding of the Operational Concept, main concepts underlying the Monitoring and Control design, FDIR and Alarm concept, Masking and Alarm Acknowledgement concept Monitoring V3 MCS activities with respect to agreed plans and schedules, and report on any issues. Participate in the testing and validation of the various deliveries. Support acceptance of the deliverables received from industry, ensuring correctness, completeness and compliance to the applicable requirements Support research and development activities in the area of back end infrastructure data systems. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Good Back End Infrastructure Data System knowledge Good EGNOS MC system knowledge Good ground control segment knowledge Familiarity with development and testing principles Ability to understand and accurately predict behavior of complex systems Service provision in English Well organised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with programmingscripting languages e.g. C, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting Capability to interact with users in customer oriented manner. This include 1st and 2nd line support. Experience working with operational missions, and particular previous experience with Galileo Familiarity with the ESOC working environment, procedures and Quality Management System QMS Ability to report accurately Experience in softwaresystem design methodologies Familiarity with effective teamwork principles and team building aspects A proactive attitude towards problem solving and the ability to achieve solutions as required.
