Client and Location For one of our customers we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Systems Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany. With 1200 employees on multiple locations in Germany and 2500 worldwide, this organization is one of the top players in the European space industry. The organization specializes in Systems Engineering and offers hightech solutions for space. The company is currently working on some of Europes major satellite and spacecraft development and manufacturing programs and is looking for support within the Systems Engineering. The Electrical Systems Engineer is member of the Electrical Architecture Team, belonging to the Systems Engineering Department. Further to the work within projects, the Systems Engineering department is committed to the continuous improvement and consolidation of current and future satellite architectures within the company. Tasks and Responsibilities The Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for the definition of Electrical System Verification activities at subsystem and satellite level. Definition of satellite electrical systems and avionics verification and test plans Manage the development of the electrical test procedures Define and coordinate subsystem verification activities, including subassembly, platform, satellite, environmental and launch campaigns Support verification plans of Engineering and support the optimization of test procedures reuse across the project Establish coordination between AIT team and other subsystems Act as main technical focal point to AIT Manager, ENG, PAQA, SCM and customer for electrical AIT activities within the project Definition of EGSE needs to support required verification activities Support system level design reviews Interface to customers based on test procedure development Definition of a standard process and test concept for the electricalsystems verification from early design phases until system level verification campaigns, including environmental and launch campaigns Further development of strategic competencies technologies. Experience and Education Completed professional education in electrical engineering, space technology, information technology or comparable qualification More than 5 years of professional experience in the field of electrical systems engineering for Space Industry Experience in satellite system verification and test activities Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently Fluency in spoken and written English Knowledge of German is an advantage.
