We are currently looking for a Galileo Spacecraft Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Galileo Spacecraft Operations Engineer Data Handling, TTC OBSM Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the GALILEO Flight Control Team at ESOC, you will have the following responsibilities Data Handling, TTC, onboard software and OBSM operations Review of documentation and procedures produced Development of LEOP specific nominal and contingency recovery operating procedures using the MOIS tools Providing specialist subsystem advice on the development and content of the Operational Database Development of tools to manage the Data Handling and TTC subsystems during LEOP in particular ANDs, GRDs, mimics and offline tools Validation of procedures using the Galileo Constellation Simulator CSIM and the Galileo LEOP specific SCOS2000 based control system LSCCF Preparation of SCTC specific procedures and the writing of SCTC reports Identification, recording, investigation and progression of spacecraft and groundbased anomalies during the SCTCs, simulations campaign and LEOP Preparation for and participation in the simulations campaign Participation in the LEOP incl. shiftworking to provide 24 hour support Support Handover and postLEOP activities. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant field Spacecraft subsystem knowledge, in particular good knowledge of Data Handling and TTC subsystems Good knowledge of OBSM configuration, operation, inputs and products Good operational experience and familiarity with MOIS tools Fluency in English is mandatory.
