RHEA is currently recruiting a Galileo Systems Operations ICT Engineer to support the Galileo Operations Procurement Service Division at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the development and implementation of the ICT operation concept for the Galileo systems Contribute to the procurement of the Galileo GDDN and EDDNs Ensure the compliance of the GDDN and EDDN with the project requirements Proceed to the validation and qualification of the services Monitor the provision of the GDDN and EDDN services as defined by applicable SLAs, following the progress of the implementation of new requirements, monitoring the anomalies resolution, and evaluating the service performance Lead the coordination of the validation, operations, maintenance and endtoend communication systems of the Galileo Ground Segments in close coordination with the network equipment providers Follow up the development of the Ground Segment ICT, providing the required operations inputs for design, deployment and integration up to support to acceptance Ensure followup of any problems in any of the ICT systems in use, detected during infrastructure operation and validation at GCCs, through to disposition and resolution Contribute to the definition of the data network concept and related Ground operations of the Galileo Second Generation, including Operations Concepts, Operations Requirements and Operational Service documents. Provide technical support to the procurement of the Galileo Segments and System. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Significant experience in position for communication engineering, system integration and validation. Spacecraft and Ground Segment subsystem knowledge. Experience in a commercialindustrial environment. Experience with management tasks. Practical and analytical approach. Ability to efficiently interact in a complex teamwork environment Perfect command of English, verbal and written. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience related to developments in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, FOC. Experience dealing with external interfaces.
