For our activities in ESRIN, we are currently looking for a Ground Segment Operations Architect. Tasks and Responsibilities The Key Person will be in charge to define the reference operational architecture and baseline definition. This position should be a transversal role, ensuring service model full definition, baselines definition and maintenance and coherency with mission GS implementation and evolution. The Key Person will also be responsible for the following Tasks Activityproject, operations Plans definition and management Input to SoW Management reporting i.e. adding value to provider standard reports Proposals for improvements Critical analysis of third party solutions from development teams or providers Problem and incident management including relationship with relevant boards and roles Definition of operational baselines Definitionreviewcontribution of EndtoEnd processes Transfer to Operations experience Services definition e.g. SLAs, KPIs definition. Requirements Applicants should bring a university degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of experience in Ground Segment operations and should cover the following essentials Management skills capacity to generate good quality documentation including SoWs architecture level technical skills e.g. definition and assessment of operational decisions Application procedure Important All applicants must hold a current valid work permit for Italy or be EU nationals.
