Job Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Heliophysics Missions Operations Engineer, your areas of responsibility encompass Operations Supervision and Mission Planning, to assuming the responsibility and performing activities for additional subsystems or systems within the scope of general SOE services, including testing, validation and operation of the Mission Control System, Mission Planning System and Simulator. The successful candidate will be primarily assigned to the Heliophysics Missions Operations Unit which encompasses Cluster II in extended routine and Solar Orbiter in cruise missions within the Solar System Exploration Missions Division but with the possibility of supporting other missions within this division. Additionally, you will concentrate your activities on the following Operations Supervision Anomaly Handling Mission Planning Tools, MIB and FOP Maintenance Validation and Deployment of Ground Systems updates Management and coordination of internal mission interfaces Spacecraft Performance Analysis and Reporting Phase Execution Eclipses Ops, Flyby, Remote Sensing Windows, etc. OnBoard Software Maintenance Support Service Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring Minimum of a University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering. Spacecraft System and Subsystem knowledge AOCSDHOBSMPowerThermalTTCPayload Experience in activities applicable to spacecraft operations Coordination and interaction with other service providers in operations and other fields team player Experience in programming in Python and SW Engineering practices and technology SQLNoSQL DB, Angular, Django, Docker, GITLAB, webservices, etc. Experience in the generation of nominal contingency procedures Experience in testing and validation of ground segment system The successful candidate should be familiar with satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000 with Onboard SW and OBCP development, operational simulators, especially the ones based on SimSat, deep space missions, MOIS. Additionally, you should be able to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously.
