Cotton yarn prices have declined in the past week in India, for the first time in three months. Our weekly report covers fiber and spun yarn prices in India, including cotton, polyester, and viscose fiber prices. A large number of yarn prices are also reviewed every week, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, 100% viscose, and 100% acrylic. Organic and BCI cotton fiber and yarn prices are available. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices to assess the latest trends in margins of Indian spinners.
