India Fiber and Yarn Prices (Weekly Report)

2020-12-11 18:08:48| EmergingTextiles.com

Spun yarn prices have continued to rise in the past week in India, amid signs that prices could now stabilize or even return to lower levels over a drop in demand from domestic and export markets. Our weekly report covers fiber prices, including cotton, polyester, and viscose. A large number of yarn prices are also reviewed, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, 100% viscose, and 100% acrylic. Organic and BCI cotton fiber and yarn prices are available. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices to assess the latest trends in margins of Indian spinners.
