Yarn prices surged further in the past week in India, in line with a rebound in cotton prices, recovery in foreign demand for textiles and apparel, and lower production levels triggered by the Covid crisis. Our weekly report covers fiber prices in India, including cotton, polyester, and viscose. Many yarn prices are also reviewed, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, 100% viscose, and 100% acrylic.
