We are working with an international client providing Climate and Weather services based on Satellite data. Which provide critical weather services and invaluable climate data to users and scientists all around the world. Our customer has developed a wide range of systems and services focused on managing the satellite data, these are constantly evolving to manage new requirements, new satellites and benefit from cutting edge technologies, such as big data. To meet our customers needs we are looking for a dynamic team to provide a robust verification and validation services in the various areas, for Example Data Acquisition Services Making sure satellite data is successfully received and ingested Data Dissemination systems making data available to broad user community User management services Reporting and monitoring Services Data Discovery and access mechanisms and services Data and Knowledge preservation services to ensure data is held securely and all relevant knowledge is maintained. Any experience with Earth Observation data would be greatly appreciated. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for experienced Verification and validation engineers, able to work and communicate in English with experience in System Verification Validation of largeScale systems Formalised Software Testing functional, regression, component Formalised System Testing functional, regression, component, integration XML technologies for Data format representation and Interface Definition Network lifecycle verification Change and configuration management Unitsystem Testing EndtoEnd Verification Planning and Documentation Examples include Integration and Verification and Validation Plans Test procedures Verification control documents Test reports Tools and technologies Scripting Unixlinux Testing Web services JSON, REST and SOAP Git or similar Testing Databases SQLNoSQL Containers and Virtualisation i.e. Docker using test coverage tools and techniques So if you are an experienced System engineer, that wants to work in an international and dynamic environment.
