This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a graduate consultant engineer with at least 5 years experience in the field of Integration, Verification and Validation IVV of Earth Observation Systems Satellite and Ground. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The successful candidate will be fully integrated in the IVV team within the clients LEO division supporting a number of satellite programmes. The key experience and skills sought are Testing and verification of complex data processing systems Involvement in development lifecycle of Earth Observation Systems from design to validation Preparation of IVV plans, specifications and procedures Definition and setting up of the logistic tasks related to the preparation and execution of IVV tests, including the involvement of external entities Leading the coordination activities and running daily weekly meetings Use of standards applicable to IVV activities Definition and use of Test Data for IVV activities in particular with respect to the needs and the usage The working language is English.
