For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Materials and Processes Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany. This company is using its long heritage in the European space industry to develop the nextgeneration European launchers. Tasks and Responsibilities The jobholder will be working on both the Ariane 5 and Ariane 6 Launcher projects. The specific tasks include Selection of materials and processes for launchers and space industry Definition of key parameters for manufacturing processes Support for qualification of new materials and processes Definition of inspection and test procedures Testing of metallic materials Treatment of nonconformances Establishment of lists of materials, mechanical parts and processes. Experience and Education University degree in Aerospace engineering or equivalent At least 2 years experience in materials and processes engineering for spacecraft andor launcher systems A good knowledge in metallic and nonmetallic materials, gases and fluids A good knowledge on physicalchemical methods of analysis Good knowledge of SAP and MSOffice Experience with metallic materials and joining technology, e.g. soldering or welding would be a plus Fluency in English, conversational level of German and basic knowledge of French.
