Vitrociset Belgium is looking for a candidate with the profile described below to deploy in ASTRIUM Please submit applications not later than 2062014 by EMAIL to Mr. Massimiliano Mazza, Head of Engineering services Satellite Operations M.Mazzavitrocisetbelgium.com cc. jobsvitrocisetbelgium.com Specific Tasks The following activities shall be performed Mechanical Assembly, Integration and Test AIT support performed within the spacecraft preparation environment and cleanroom working practices including Mechanical integration, alignment and testing of electronic units, precision optical units, subsystems and instruments, mechanisms, antennas, solar arrays, mechanical subsystems, instruments, payloads and spacecraft and control the related documentation Preparation of documentation related to test activities including test specifications, test plans, test procedures and test reports Design of test equipment, overseeing its manufacture, and commissioning. Preparation and execution of environmental tests Vibration, Acoustic, Mass properties, Shock, Thermal at unit, subsystem, instrument and spacecraft level. Produce specifications from test requirements, write test plans, DDV plans, AIT Plans, test procedures and test reports Logistics control of all project MGSE, flight hardware and support equipment. MGSE producing specifications from test requirements, operating and maintaining MGSE Alignment producing test procedures and operating and maintain Optical alignment equipment. Design of test equipment, overseeing its manufacture, and commissioning. Responsible for Mechanical handling of Spacecraft, Instruments, payloads, solar arrays, antenna etc. Prepare and carry out environmental tests Vibration, Acoustic, Mass properties, Shock, Thermal at unit, subsystem, instrument and spacecraft level. Install and validate test instrumentation. Thermocouples, accelerometer, tilt sensors Support propulsion testing. Handling and installation of thermal hardware Responsible for Mechanical integration and testing of electronic units, subsystems and instruments, mechanisms, antennas, solar arrays, mechanical subsystems, instruments, payloads and spacecraft and control the documentation associated with performing these tasks. Support the Team leader and AIT manager in their duties. In addition to the above tasks the contractors engineers will be expected to interface with other members of the Airbus DS prime team and with the ESA team on an ad hoc basis. In particular the contractors engineers shall be prepared to Participate in Project technical and progress meetings Provide inputs to system progress report Participate in the regular progress meetings between Airbus DS and ESA Specific Competence and Qualification Requirements University degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering or other relevant field Several years relevant experience, ideally in aerospace In addition, candidates should have good organisational and analytical skills, as well as a proactive attitude towards solving problems. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
