HE Space is a successful international space company. For 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Mission Control System Integration and Verification Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Mission Control System Integration and Verification Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. In this role you will have the following responsibilities Integration of the Monitoring Control System Generation and updates of test plan and test procedures, test data and test tools Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing Maintaining the verification status of the software requirement baseline Preventive and corrective maintenance Generation and updates of technical documents Analysis activities focused on a common software engineering methodology and common software engineering tools including the development of tools Provide software support to the endusers of the application software Provide training of mission control facilities endusage and maintenance. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in the domain of engineering, computer science, or equivalent Several years experience in software maintenance and testing Experience in integration and verification testing activities for Satellite Monitoring Control Systems ideally based upon SCOS2000MICONYS or EPOCH Experience using tools for the automation of software testing Experience in developing and maintaining software applications using Java and C under UNIX operating systems Experience with static and dynamic software analysis tools in support to testing and troubleshooting Experience in using configuration Management and anomaly reporting and tracking tools Knowledge and understanding of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS Fluency in English is mandatory. This job is located in Darmstadt. We are looking for candidates who are available from January 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
