(Telecompaper) Netflix has confirmed that it will begin offering its streaming service in Spain in October. "This autumn, internet users in Spain will be able to subscribe to Netflix and instantly watch a broad selection of TV series and movies in high-definition or even Ultra HD 4K on nearly any internet-connected screen," said the company in a statement, adding that the programming will be fully localised with subtitles and dubbing. Spanish users can sign up for a one-month free trial of the service, which will be available at launch on smart TVs, tablets and smartphones, computers and a range of internet-capable game consoles and set-top boxes. The company didn't provide pricing details but they are expected to be in line with the price of subscriptions in other European countries such as France and Belgium, where the basic version of the service starts at EUR 7.99 per month.
