Investing in you to support the development of the European space industry. This is HE Space. We are currently looking for a ORION Systems Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the ORION team, you will have the following responsibilities Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a systemproduct and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements Work closely sharing both industrial and functional design view, from the very early stages of the design through the serial production phase and up to the in service life of the product whole product cycle Working in close collaboration between the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and any other disciplines involved throughout the whole product lifecycle Understand the organization, infrastructure, constraints and limitations of program industrial planning, and global systemsproducts and their interdependencies during industrialization phase Support Supply chain Operation Manager SOM as equipment technical authority. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Minimum a masters degree in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Practical experience with Development Design DD, Validation Verification VV of Space system, component andor equipment Several years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, ITSystems, and quality management Experience with Assembly, Integration and Testing AIT with strong process awareness Experience with proposal support, supplier technical followup, and RAMS awareness Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage.
