For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for three Payload Integration Manager. Tasks and Responsibilities The Tasks and responsibilities of the Payload Integration Manager will include the following Experiment Science Requirements Integration Control Board Meetings Research Directive CEF Process Review of IDRD Annex 5 Manifesting Cold Stowage Agreements Payload Development Analytical Integration for Columbus Integration into IP Elements Launcher Integration Cold Stowage Integration Integrated Safety Anomaly Resolution and Corrective Maintenance Preventive Maintenance Logistics OpNom and Labels Crew Training Operations Preparation Operations Planning including Resolution of Issues Real Time Operations Lessons Learnt Process Commissioning Plans. Requirements A university degree MSc or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science biology, medicine, physics, chemistry discipline Demonstrated widespread experience in aerospace or human spaceflight activities management, including development, integration an onorbit operations activities of complex payloads A proven experience in interfacing with partners in an international environment is an asset A strong aptitude for relationship management as well as good communication skills The post requires a resultorientated approach to work in a highly complex project environment A strong capacity for planning and organising tasks Fluency in English is required, knowledge of another ESA member state language and or Russian is an asset Strong experience and a deep level of expertise working with the following payloads Airway Monitoring, PPFS, Circadian Rhythms, PFS, Energy, Ared Kinematics, MARES, SARCOLAB3, Patterns, HAPTICS1. The Team Manager shall possess the following skills in addition to the ones listed above At least 5 years of previous working experience relevant to the responsibilities of a Payload Integration Manager A sound and proven experience in the field of expertise, capable of a high level autonomy Ability to manage a mediumsized team in the complex ESA and ISS environments Effective planning and communication skills.
