Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)

PTA prices have remained very firm in the last week in Asia, over a new rise of crude oil and paraxylene prices and whatever the fall in demand from polyester producers ahead of lunar year holidays. MEG prices have slightly increased with the market confronted with surging ethylene prices, a sharp rise of chinese capacities and falling margins at glycol plants.
