Polyester chain prices have tumbled in Asia after crude oil prices have plunged over the weekend. Naphtha, paraxylene, PTA and MEG have dramatically declined, with polyester prices dropping further, as a result. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
