Polyester intermediate prices have continued to tumble in the last week in Asia, amid larger inventories and weaker demand. Raw material costs of polyester fiber producers could continue to drop, as a result. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
