Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)

Polyester chain prices have rebounded in the last week, over a continuous increase in crude oil prices. Demand from the textile industry is far from following, although textile exports have been supported by the surge in demand for masks and protective equipment. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
