Polyester intermediate prices are not expected to recover in the short term, limiting any chance to see polyester prices rising over a jump in material costs. Demand for polyester remains subdued, in addition, amid large inventory levels. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. All data are available for download.
