Polyester intermediate prices have fallen slightly in the last week, over a significant decline in crude oil prices. High inventory levels and a disappointing demand have pressured polyester fiber prices. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
