Polyester intermediate prices have risen across the board in China and India, over a rise of crude oil, naphtha, MX, and PX prices. Demand for polyester fibers is falling from the textile industry, however. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
