Crude oil prices have been supported in the past week by a new agreement between OPEC and Russia pushing up polyester pipeline prices today in Asia. PTA prices have continued to rise in India. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
