Polyester chain prices have begun to stabilize in the Far East, thanks to the congestion triggered by the container ship stuck in the Suez canal. Any future rise in polyester prices would be limited, however. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
