PTA and MEG prices stayed firm in the past week due to a new rise in crude oil prices. Production levels could be cut to support prices and limit the fall in margins. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
