Polyester prices are now bottoming out in China, whereas further rising in Pakistan. Demand remains relatively strong amid low inventory levels. The polyester rally should continue in 2018, due to a series of bullish factors. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison of polyester staple fibers with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
