Polyester Fiber and Filament Yarn Prices (Weekly Report)

PSF prices have been stabilized in the last week by Chinese holidays. Polyester prices have more sharply increased in the past 12 months in Pakistan than in China, due to the sharp rise of the renminbi in Pak rupee terms allowing domestic producers to significantly raise their prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report also include a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China, and of polyester staple fibers with intermediate prices. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers in China is also released.
