Polyester prices were sharply falling on Wednesday in China, back from a 1-week break. In the meantime, crude oil prices have plunged in New York, triggering a new fall of polyester chain prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
