Polyester prices began declining over the last seven days, following OPEC's decision to maintain ts production level. The consecutive fall of crude oil prices has depressed most petrochemical prices, including polyester fibers. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
