The polyester fiber prices more sharply declined in the last seven days in China, after crude oil prices reached a 6-year low. Demand is also weaker than expected from the polyester textile industry. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
