Polyester prices have more significantly fallen in the last seven days in China. A new decline of crude oil prices could further pressure staple fiber and filament yarns, although they have lost about 50% in five years. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison of polyester staple fibers with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
