Polyester prices have slightly risen at the end of the last week in China, following a rebound of crude oil prices and ahead of National Day holidays. Demand could be strong in post-holiday period in anticipation of higher prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison of polyester staple fibers with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
