We are currently looking for a Product Assurance Manager to support our customer in the United Kingdom. Product Assurance Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a world leader in satellite data communications. It pioneered the use of high throughput satellites at the Kaband frequencies. Major organisations are now using its networks for cellular backhaul, IP trunking, complex government and enterprise networks and video services, as well as broadband. You will have the following responsibilities Monitoring the execution of the product assurance plan Identification and resolution of problems with respect to quality Support the implementation of product assurance requirements and plans Monitor that all PA documentation and records of the subcontractors are maintained Identify and help to resolve problems that may represent an unacceptable risk to product quality Organize the review and approval of changes to project quality documentation Facilitate the implementation of risk management Contribute to the disposition of nonconformances, anomalies and problems Ensure proper NCR management Maintain strict control of the receipt, disposition and approval of RFDs and RFWs Ensure that the configuration management databaseplan is maintained. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree as well as extensive postgraduate experience in product assurance working on communication satellite programmes Knowledge of the integration and testing issues associated with communication payloads operating in the Ku and Ka bands Familiarity with Product Assurance standards for Space Systems Knowledge of the integration and testing issues associated with the service segment facilities Experience of working directly with prime contractors Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Methodical approach to work and strong analytical skills Ability to generate innovative solutions Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
