Primary ResponsibilitiesKey Result Areas As a part of the larger Cloud Practice team, the role involves the following activities Analyzing and communicating deep insights across multiple vertical market segments as relates to satellitebased Cloud and Cloud Enabled services Identifying and recommending priority markets for SES, including customer segments and solutions, geographies, and addressable markets Assessing future technology evolution and market direction such as Enterprise ITOT trends, Cloud Infrastructure and Services, IoT, LTE5G evolutions, etc., and forming strategies to intercept these for maximum SES business benefit Working with the various marketspecific teams within SES Networks to develop Cloud strategies, including products and service portfolio, GoToMarket approach, partnerchannel needs, pricing strategy, and profitable revenue growth Curating, launching, and incubating impactful Cloud and CloudEnabled solutions including the generation of Business Cases, Market Requirement Documents, Solution Descriptions, CommercialPricing Structures, and Sales Enablement tools roadmaps, feature descriptions, value propositions, etc. Defining and tracking KPIs for Cloud Practice success, typically measured by sales, revenues, PL, and RoI on required investments. Interfacing with a crossfunctional set of internal functions including Segment Management, Satcom Architecture, Commercial Management, Asset Management, Suppliers, Partners, and Sales and Marketing in support of the SES Cloud strategy and business Working with Marketing and Partner management functions in support of sales enablement campaigns Collateral, training, roadshows, etc. Who We Are Looking For More About You In order to achieve the outcomes described above, we believe you will have a strong mix of some or all of the following SkillsCompetencies Knowledge of and skills in Enterprise ITOT Digital transformations, especially as applies to Aero, MaritimeCruise, Energy, Mining verticals Knowledge of and skills in Government and Military Cloud and digital transformation strategies Knowledge of and skills in Cloud Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, andor Cloud based services and applications Knowledge of and skills in Telco Cloud architectures, including virtualization SDN, NFV, Orchestration solutions and delivery of next generation communication services i.e., 5G, IoT from cloud native infrastructure Knowledge and skills of key cloud platforms and service catalogues, i.e., Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, etc. Business Development skills, able to balance near term tactics for revenue performance against strategic vision for sustainable growth Product ownership articulating product vision and roadmap, owning the full product lifecycle from cradle to grave, determining GoToMarket strategies, and assuring the products business performance PL, revenue profile, etc. Strong presentation skills possessing the ability to produce and present content in an inspiring manner to a variety of internal and external audiences SelfstartingSelfManaging nature, with the ability to lead by influence across the organization Intercultural awareness, working across a global enterprise with awareness and sensitivity to global cultural variations Preferred Education Experience a combination of education and experience will be considered Bachelors Degree or higher or equivalent in either Engineering with focus on NetworkingITCloud Solutions, or Marketing with focus on Business Development At least 10 years experience in the TelecomSatCom or Cloud Service Provider industry in ProductPortfolio Management or Business Development.
