We are currently looking for a Product Formats, Test Data and Test Tools Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Product Formats, Test Data and Test Tools Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. As part of the team you will have the following responsibilities Support the satellite operation with respect to Marine Payload Data Ground Segment Correcting anomaly and software release process Responsible for the maintenance and coordination with the data processing systems engineering and the multimission element engineers for the related interfaces with the rest of the satellite ground segment. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Several year of experience in testing and maintaining product formats and formatters, test data and tests tools for large scale software systems Experience in engineering evolutions of such software, test data and tools Experience is required of software development lifecycles, system testing for earth observation systems and use of test data and tools for supporting this Experience of formats and associated formatters used in earth observation e.g. netCDF for marine applications Several years of experience with CC and Java in a UNIXLinux based environment and with scripting languages e.g. Python, Perl, TcliTk, shell Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
