Moreover, we actively manage your professional development, training and career progression. For the location in Darmstadt Germany we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer at EUMETSAT. Tasks The Technical Scientific Support TSS department is responsible for providing all engineering, data product specification and project support expertise to the Operations Services to Users OPS and the Programme Preparation Development PRD departments. TSS also provides management support to all EUMETSAT departments via ist Process Assurance and Management Support division PRS, including quality assurance, defined as a set of quality policy objectives and responsibilities. Quality Assurance in TSS is defined and applied to TSS processes Process Assurance and to the products delivered by the department Product Assurance. The Key person defined in Article 12 of the Contract shall contribute to the Provision of Quality Assurance support to TSS, supporting the PRS Quality Assurance engineer who has the responsibility for coordinating QA support within the TSS Department. The Quality Assurance Engineering support role will consist of the following main tasks Assisting in the definition and implementation of TSS processes i.e. engineering, management and supporting processes PerformingSupporting assessments of TSS processes and recommending improvements Monitoring selected processes, such as anomaly management processes, and providing statistics on them Supporting TSS risk management processes and associated reviews Providing support in the implementation and improvement of the TSS Quality Assurance Plan and quality processes in TSS Providing training in Quality matters to members of TSS. Essential requirements As a minimum, the Key Person shall have a university degree or equivalent, education in Quality Assurance, and a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more positions utilising skills as listed in the following section. The following attributes are essential for this position Good knowledge of the ISO 9000 series Experience of working in an environment where an ISO 9001 certified management system is established and maintained Knowledge of the management, engineering and quality assurance activities performed for a project, as typically defined in a formal project management methodology. Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good userviewpoint writing skills Experience of Quality Assurance auditing process assessment Skilled in proficiently using Microsoft Office tools suite. Desirable requirements One or more of the following will be considered an advantage Knowledge of Quality Management Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines Possession of an auditing qualification Knowledge of IT service management service related processes Experience of working in an operational systems environment Experience in IT andor softwareintensive engineering projects Knowledge of the ECSS standards.
