Position Reference 096 You will have the opportunity to support the implementation of the GOVSATCOM The European Union Governmental Satellite Communications Preparatory Action initiated by the European Parliament. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support to the development of the Almanac of satellite communication capacity and services Provide an analysis and technical assessments of available commercial entities which could provide satcom capacities and services in the period 20202027 Provide an analysis and technical assessments of available publicprivate partnership which could provide satcom capacities and services in the period 20202027 Provide an analysis and technical assessments of satcom capacities and services which could be provided from Member State systems in the period 20202027 Functional analysis of the GOVSATCOM necessary ground infrastructure Technical analysis of the different functions and interfaces needed in the GOVSATCOM necessary ground infrastructure Analysis of different concepts of the GOVSATCOM necessary ground infrastructure in the light of the required functions Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University Degree in the relevant discipline. You have at least 5 years of work experience in Satellite Communication ground segment andor services. You are fluent in English C1 Level. You are organised, dynamic and proactive.
