The Position Telespazio Germany is looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to join our Sentinel2 Operations Team. Depending on the level of experience, the inclusion into the service team may take place between 01.08.2021 and 30.09.2021. ResponsibilitiesDuties The general activities to be supported by this service are Study of Project specific Characteristics and Ground Segment Documentation Participation in the Analysis and Design of Satellite Operations Generation and validation of Flight Control Procedures Mission Management and Mission Planning Support Service Support for Ground Segment Systems evolution and testing e.g. MCS, SIM and MPS Participation in the team Training Program Routine Payload Platform Operations Participation in all Mission Critical Operations General Flight Control Support Service Spacecraft Performance Analysis Participation in System Validation Tests Participation in the oncall service QualificationsExperience University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering. Minimum 4 years experience in Operations Essential Skills Spacecraft Payload, Payload Data Handling Unit and Platform subsystem knowledge. Knowledge on AOCSPowerThermal is desirable.
