(Telecompaper) SoftBank plans to invest around KRW 5 trillion (approximately USD 4.5 billion) in South Korea's technology sector over the next 10 years, The WSJ reports, citing SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son. According to a SoftBank spokesperson, during a meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye in Seoul, Masayoshi Son said the plans to invest in smart robots, the IoT and artificial intelligence. These areas are the focus for his company over the next 30 years, Son added.
