JOB DESCRIPTION Software operational maintenance and support Responsibilities Duties Tasks GMV is a leading global supplier of ground systems for real time satellite monitoring and control. hifly is the GMV satellite monitoring and control commercial product and is being used by GMV customers worldwide, including the main commercial satellite operators and all satellite manufacturers in the US and Europe. The candidate will be part of the hifly software maintenance team. This team is mainly based at GMV premises of Tres Cantos. Heshe will be located at Rockville and working in a distributed team. Heshe will be involved in the operational support of GMV commercial software for satellite control centres for different customers. The associated tasks include investigation of SW problems reported by the customers and preparation of software fixes, reporting, documentation of the results, operational support to the Customers, etc. Qualifications Masters Degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering, Telecomunications or Aerospace Engineering Required knowledge C Java Eclipse RCP Design and sofware architectures English native level Desirable Knowledge Distributed systems Satellite Control Centers Communication middlewares e.g. CORBA Software Configuration Management e.g. SVN Spanish WHAT DO WE OFFER?
