Our client is a leader in the development and operation of nanosatellites developed by students. They have acquired indepth competences in the field of design, manufacturing, testing and operation of nanosatellites and their subsystems, as well as in the area of space project management and product assurance in the framework of university space projects. The client has an AIT Assembly integration and Test Facility, 3 CDF Concurrent Design Facility and both UHF and Sband Ground Stations. They develop their own iU and EM CubeSat nanosatellite platforms with the support of the Van Allen Foundation and both the French and the European space agencies. Overview The Space Mission Concept and Development Researcher has to bring together knowledge and analysis from physics, electronics, flight dynamics, space missions design, space environment, space mechanics, propulsion and attitude and orbit control systems used in spacecraft, cost and risks management to design and evaluate cutting edge mission concepts for developed nanosatellites. The client has recently acquired a concurrent design facility CDF using VTS and IDMClC software the same than in NASA, CNES and ESA to perform mission and system analysis considering all project constraints and objectives. The Postdoctoral researcher shall be in charge of evaluating many mission analysis and optimise the system to be developed. Heshe also has to evaluate the resources needed to perform the mission from Phase 0 to Phase F.
