RHEA is currently recruiting a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to support satellite and instrument level operations concepts at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Reviewing technical specifications and design descriptions Reviewing module and unit level Reviewing satellite and instrument modes and the transitions between them Reviewing Autonomy and FDIR concepts with particular attention to the development and management of Action Sequences and OBCPs Reviewing specification of the PUS customisation with particular attention to the module specific services and to the implication on the development of the S2K based MCS Reviewing operational concepts with a dependence on ground calculated inputs e.g. OnBoard Orbit Propagator OOP Reviewing instrument operability concepts with particular attention to the management from ground of large numbers of configuration parameters, and their onboard interdependence Supporting preparation of operational deliverables and their logistics Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant field Experience in working in an operational environment Good spacecraft knowledge on a subsystem level Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Fluent in English Wellorganised, proactive Ability to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with operations planning and validation Familiarity with operational simulators and control systems Knowledge of satellite or ground operations, or nonspace operational environments Ability to work independently, at a distance from the core team How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
